I’m terrible at advertising and marketing. If I had to survive on those two skills alone, I would probably starve. Luckily, I don’t. Writing for me came as naturally as breathing, and it sort of took off itself. I really didn’t have to do very much, thankfully.
A few days ago though, a friend wrote me and told me that the reason my blog and Facebook page were doing so well was because of a cross promotion put on by Killer Davenport. If you haven’t looked into his writing and radio show, I highly recommend you do that. This certain friend of mine promotes me relentlessly, and I’m honestly not much for tooting my own horn, so I just throw poems out here, every once in a while get a book out, and hope the rest just works itself out.
The idea of cross promotion is simple. You promote them, they promote you. The advantage to you is they have been doing this for years, so they have more people to promote you to. I have them promote my page and my blog and I can tell you it has done a world of good. I’ve even sold books thanks to them.
Tonight I had a radio interview with him. I’m not sure how to find it, but it is something that would garner you more fans, especially since he’s very good at asking just the right questions and putting you at ease, so you can talk about your passion instead of worrying about being nervous.
So, here is all the information you will need to check this out yourself:

If you want to skip all the hoopla and get straight to it, you can read this, then email firstname.lastname@example.org, to get started.
Now I’m sure you are thinking this blog is all I have, right? Nah, I have more. You can find me here too:
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I’ll get back to writing poetry. Take a minute and look into this Kiler though, I can tell you beyond a reasonable doubt he can increase your traffic and gain you much more exposure.
