That Train

0000000000000000000001bMy will they would take from me

Every ounce of pride I contain

I try to flee from this storm

But I never get away from the rain.

He tells me my fantasy

Isn’t reality at all.

What rises from the ashes

Will suddenly one day fall.

I had nothing of my will left

It’s just been a very long ride

They told me I was ignorant

So I just stood there and cried.

Standing on the tracks today

I didn’t know what to do

My life was falling around me

My hero was gone too.

The motion of the train comes towards me

So I sit to think of the pain.

I’d like this question within me answered

And I believe it is on that train.
